2009-2010 SEASON

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Good luck to all those competitors competing at the Catherine Hill Bay Carnival. Thank you to our patrolling members who vigilently look after our beaches each weekend. A job well done by all.

LIFESAVING:

On Wednesday 28th October 2009 at 6.00pm there will be a Lifesaving Meeting - Please RSVP to Roz ASAP

Incident Report Logs:   Did you know the the Incident Report Log should be used by members to record all incidents including minor and major first aids, major rescues, search and retrievals, member injuries, drowning incidents, near drowing incidents and complaints. Clubs must ensure that an IRL is readily available for patrol members and stored in a location that is easily assessable to all members. All IRLs completed are to be entered in SurfGuard within 7 days of the incident. These logs are important as they are tools to communicate both to internal and external services.

Clubs are reminded that if they participate in any event outside of Surf Lifesaving, Water safety, people power etc you must lodge a Special Event Form to cover your members with Insurance. These can be downloaded from our website click here These forms have been updated so please read carefully.

Attention all Club Captains: As the end of the month approaches please don't forget you only have 1 week after the end of the month to enter patrol hours on Surfguard. It would be appreciated if you could  send in your YELLOW Patrol sheets to the Branch Office, as soon after this as possible.
