New Bronze Car Park now open!

In response to record growth and ever increasing demand, Newcastle Airport recently completed a major expansion of its car parking facilities. The new Bronze Car Park provides for an additional 874 spaces, and brings the total number of car park spaces at Newcastle Airport to more than 2,000.

The new Bronze Car Park also features a courtesy bus service for passengers, AirBus.

Newcastle Airport is committed to providing customers with first-class facilities, and the new Bronze Car Park expansion significantly increases the cost-effective, long-term parking options for Airport users.

AirBus has arrived!

Access to the terminal from the new Bronze Car Park will be a cinch, as Newcastle Airport has implemented a new dedicated shuttle bus. We have appropriately named our brand new 18 seater bus, AirBus.

The bus will run on a dedicated loop, picking-up passengers from the front of the terminal and dropping them at the new bus shelter in the Bronze Car Park (and vice versa.)

AirBus is free-of-charge and equipped to carry disabled passengers. For more information on AirBus click here

F1s at Newcastle Airport

On Wednesday 30 September, Newcastle Airport played host to the regional finals of F1 in Schools Technology Challenge.

More than 70 high school students were vying for a place in the NSW team, with the aim of making it to the national finals.

25 metres of race track was set-up in the Airport terminal for students to test and race their designs. The University of Newcastle also provided a replica F1 racing car for display in the general area of the terminal for both students and passengers to admire.

As first time host of the Regional Final, Newcastle Airport supports the awareness of the engineering and aerospace industry as primary career pathways.

Tell us what you think!

Newcastle Airport values your feedback. Each month we collect your comments and feedback about our airport via the forms located throughout the terminal.

Newcastle Airport is proud to announce that it is moving with the times. The old paper-based system is being replaced by three new electronic feedback stations.

The new portals will be located underneath the current FIDs (Flight Information Display) board at check-in, in the departures lounge and near the Information Services Desk in the arrivals hall.

Newcastle Airport encourages all Airport visitors to tell us what they think about the Airport’s services and facilities. That way, we can implement suggestions and respond to issues, ensuring we are delivering the very best travel experience for our passengers.
