Proud to donate $30,000 to the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation

Following the success of Newcastle Airport’s second annual Charity Golf Day, we were proud to present a cheque for $30,000 to our Charity of Choice, the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation.

The donation will be used by the Foundation to produce post-surgery cushions, as well as providing transportation to-and-from ongoing treatment and medical appointments, and offering domestic and garden maintenance services for people in the Hunter with breast cancer.

Newcastle Airport would like to thank the players and sponsors of the 2010 event for their generosity.

Fresh new look for check-in

On your next visit to Newcastle Airport, look out for our funky new check-in desks. The stylish, ergonomic design was constructed by local manufacturer, Urban Joinery, and reflects the fresh Newcastle Airport brand.

The new desks are part of the ongoing upgrades around the terminal, which include new terminal seating and flight information display boards.

Head north this winter

Dreaming of an endless summer? Not ready to get out the winter coats and slippers just yet?

Newcastle Airport has up to nine flights a day to Brisbane, the capital of the Sunshine State. Book your flights with Jetstar, Virgin Blue or QantasLink and head north for the bright lights of Bris-Vegas this winter.

And from July, Jetstar will boost its services to the Gold Coast. So passengers wanting a dose of surf, sand and sunshine have even more flights to choose from.

These new flights provide passengers with more choice when booking, whether it’s for business, a short getaway or family holiday.
